Flowers are blooming

My flowers are finally starting to bloom in the backyard. I love this time of year. I love watching the new growth and seeing the trees produce leaves AND SHADE again. Every time I see the red roses bloom I think of Michelle. She bought me that rose bush when Bobby died and they always remind me of him and her. I think that was one of the most thoughtful gifts anyone ever gave me and I've gotten years of pleasure from it. Gardening really helped me get through the first months of Bobby passing away and that red rose bush started it all.

The yellow daisies really brighten up the backyard. I love all the bursts of color. My backyard isn't the nicest. I need a new fence, better grass, a covered patio, and nice furniture, but it's relaxing to go out there nonetheless, and just appreciate God and his faithfulness. It reminds me that He takes care of everything and though the flowers die in the winter, He gives them new life again in the Spring. It reminds me that God is constantly pruning me and taking care of me.
