The tree outside Knott's Berry Farm
Katie chasing roosters************
On New Years Day we went to Knott's Berry Farm. We didn't get there til' about noon and then had to get in line for our season passes. I wasn't sure how the lines would be because I've never been on New Years' Day. They were really light, actually, and the park was not crowded at all. We were able to get on everything within 10 minutes time.
As we left the park, we walked around by Independence Hall. One day I'm going to actually go inside and have a look to see what they have there. I love history and I would probably really enjoy it--without kids. The grounds were very nice. They had a lake and beautiful trees and lots of roosters and hens running around. I didn't realize that chickens could fly so high and the trees all had groups of birds inside them. Katie had fun chasing them around and loved when one would actually cock-a-doodle-doo.
Afterwards, we went to Downtown Disney to look around. It was a really relaxing and nice day.

near the parking structure, by Independence Hall. They have a lake here and it was so pretty. Ducks swim along and there are benches to sit on. Katie had a blast just running around here.
