4th of July 2009

For 4th of July this year, Debbie invited me over to her friend, Anita's house for a swimming party. I took Katie and she had a great time. We swam for a bit and then she changed back into her dress and ate. Anita made great food. They played Michael Jackson's music and barbecued. One of the girls was getting married July 18, so she was getting dance lessons from Anita. I had fun watching them all. Here is Katie, jumping into the water. She was so excited. Each time she would say, "I did it gramma!"
My brother-in-law Greg was there. I haven't seen him in about 2 years. Ashley, his daughter, hadn't seen him in a while either, so she was happy to see him and glad that he got out for the day.

HAPPY 4th of July

Later that night, I went to David's dad's house to watch Katie do sparklers and a few fire crackers. She was hilarious. Heather got some cute pictures of her. She liked the sparklers. After the first firework, she said, "it's boring". She had just learned that word that day. It was so funny when she said it.
